Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 24.10.2026

Introduction

BfreeB (hereinafter: "the Service", "we" or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Information We Collect

Information you provide: When you register for the Service, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and business details.

Usage information: We may collect information about how you use the Service, including pages visited, features used, and actions performed.

Technical information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and other technical data collected automatically.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve the Service
  • Communicate with you regarding your account and updates
  • Provide technical support and customer service
  • Send marketing messages (only if you consented)
  • Improve and develop new features
  • Prevent misuse and enforce the terms of use

Sharing Information with Third Parties

We will not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except in the following cases:

  • When required by law or court order
  • To protect our rights, property, or the safety of our users
  • With service providers working for us (such as cloud storage), subject to confidentiality obligations

Information from Gmail

If you choose to connect your Gmail account in the "Documents from email" service, we receive read-only access from Google (gmail.readonly) to find business documents in your email, such as invoices, receipts, payslips and time reports, and show them to you in your account.

  • We keep only emails that the service's rules identify as documents: the attachment, sender, subject and date received. The email body is used only for identification and is not stored.
  • This information is stored encrypted in a separate system on Supabase servers in Frankfurt, Germany (European Union), not in the main BFreeB system.
  • We do not use information from Gmail for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.
  • We do not transfer information from Gmail to others, except as needed to provide the service you asked for, for security, or as required by law.
  • No person on our behalf reads this information, except with your explicit consent (for example for support), for security, or as required by law.
  • You can disconnect Gmail at any time from the "Documents from email" page. Disconnecting revokes the access at Google, and you can also delete all stored documents.

BFreeB's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Information Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance user experience, analyze traffic, and remember preferences. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Delete your account and information (subject to legal limitations)
  • Object to certain data processing

Data Retention

We retain your personal information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account closure, we will delete or anonymize your information within a reasonable timeframe, unless required to retain it by law.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be posted on the website and/or we will send you an email notification.
